LUOHE, CHINA (INGERSOLL RAND NEWS SERVICE) -- A cooperation seminar was conducted recently between Ingersoll Rand and Shineway Group in Luohe, China. The largest meat processing company in China, Shineway Group had total assets and revenues of 35 billion RMB and 7 billion RMB, respectively, in 2008.
A key account of Thermo King, Shineway Group has more than 200 sales branches and distribution centers in 31 provinces and cities in China. Every day, 7,000 tons of meat products are distributed to different cities or regions around China through its well-developed supply chain networks.
During the visit, Shineway Group executives extended a warm welcome to Ingersoll Rand employees representing Hussmann and Thermo King from Climate Control Technologies, hardware from Security Technologies, Air Solutions from Industrial Technologies and Trane Commercial Systems from Air Conditioning Systems and Services. The Ingersoll Rand employees were given a tour of a meat processing factory, where they learned about the entire process for producing vacuum-packed food, sausage and cold fresh meats.
Shineway Group executives expressed their interest in energy saving and commercial and industrial refrigeration storage solutions during the seminar, and the Ingersoll Rand representatives discussed the competitive advantages and compatibilities of Ingersoll Rand products and solutions in these fields.
Both sides praised the seminar and expressed willingness for further cooperation on the strategic and business level.
